I put this one in mixed media because it was just about an even split between what was done traditionally and digitally... sue me.
So this was just a cute little tribal girl sketch that I decided to ink, and try out some color play. I also decided to do a little bit of a progression piece, just cuz you need those sometimes... to prove you're an artist. Pencil Sketch, Micron Inks & Prisma tones, then Digital color added... shoddily. As usual... looks so much better small.
Interesting. The progression is cool. Would have been cool if the first was skething the second the the second coloring the third. Or some kind of interaction like that. But as far as I know you did this progression for a class or something.
nah, just did the progression for myself, needed to do at least one character while my class was hell-bent on environments. It would've been cool to do that idea, but that's more for an illustrated piece than anything... because that sounds more like deliberation rather than just revealing process. You don't mind if I use that idea later do you? cuz it sounds like something fun to do.

It's great to see her finished! She's adorable. I 'm really keen on the color choices you made, too. Especially the green hair ^-^

thank you, I at least wanted to make it interesting since i wasn't going to render it... though I actually had that color scheme in mind the whole time. I just pulled a stoopid with the line art and how I composited it, but I will remember not to make the mistake again!
